The hotel perfectly combines Bavarian tradition with a regal atmosphere. Records at the Bavarian Public Record Office first mention the hotel building in 1542. A masterpiece of Bavarian Baroque architecture, it initially served as an inn on the trade route between Venice and Augsburg. Today, the hotel's well-preserved Baroque features are a real attraction for many visitors.
Included in the tourist tax is 1 free entry ticket to the casino and to the "Alpspitzwellenbad" (a swimming pool with artificial waves). You may also use the town's bus network at no extra charge.
